Return Policy for Filament Fusion

At Filament Fusion, we are committed to providing high-quality 3D-printed products and exceptional customer service. Please review our return policy below to understand your rights and our obligations under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. Defective Products

We stand by the quality of our 3D-printed items. If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. We will gladly offer a replacement, repair, or refund, depending on the circumstances and in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Please contact us at sales@filamentfusion.com.au to initiate a return for a defective item.

2. Change of Mind

We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing, or if you simply no longer want the item. Please choose carefully, as 3D-printed products are often custom-made and may not be eligible for return unless they are defective.

3. Warranty and Guarantees

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

4. How to Return a Defective Item

If your item is defective, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at sales@filamentfusion.com.au within 14 days of receiving your order.

  2. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or videos of the defect.

  3. Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

  4. Return the item in its original packaging, if possible, to ensure it is protected during transit.

5. Refunds and Replacements

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. For replacements, we will ship the new item as soon as possible.

6. Shipping Costs

If the item is defective, we will cover the cost of return shipping. If the item is not defective, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
